Baby Baby
I hinted a while back that we are having a special addition in the fall. Here's the first pictures of the newest member of our family! Aren't the feet adorable?
We're very excited. We've slowly gotten out of baby mode, so it will be a little challenge to go back into it. We have good helpers though. The boys have also come up with some interesting name suggestions, from "Sonic" to "Snake Eyes" (blame that one on G.I. Joe).
After the ultrasound, people around here were very curious about what we were having, seeing as we have three boys. I was proud to announce that we're having a human. Of course, ultrasound pictures can sometimes look creepy, but take my word for it.
She is much cuter than the pictures suggest.

"She"...awesome! At last. As for names, I think Snake Eyes Joyner has a nice ring to it. If it was a boy, I'd say Donovan is an excellent name. Oh well.
ReplyDeleteMy oldest son's name is Donovan, Mister Harbeson. You better not be pokin' fun at it! However, believe me, it was almost a name out of Barbarella--yes, it was BC. Thank God for His mercy even before I knew His Son.
ReplyDelete"She" deserves a beautiful name . . . Congratulations to all.
On the contrary, Nicole, I think Donovan is a terrific name. Some of my favorite people carry that name. And if you really think about it, you'll understand why it's such a terrific name for Jason to use.
ReplyDeleteHey... a huge congrats. Keep up the good work. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the support gang! Yes, even you Mark.
ReplyDelete"Donovan"
I had to think about that one too. Who's heard from GangGreen all offseason?
Anyway, my wife wanted me to tell you that "Antonia" has a nice ring to it.
Very pretty. If your wife hasn't read Secrets, Unforgotten, and Echoes by Kristen Heitzmann, she might enjoy them. Really this comment is related to the name "Antonia".
ReplyDeleteAaaah, Mark. I'm a little slow on the uptake. Yes, I wholeheartedly agree. Donovan indeed. Or how 'bout Matt?
Nicole,
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid you're not in NFL mode yet. "AnTONYa"?
And we already have a Matt. (How 'bout that Mr. Mikalatos?)
We're actually thinking Micaiah, and calling her Micah. Bonus points for whoever knows what it means (no Google).
No Google? I'm out. Sounds nice, though. Much better than Antonia. Unless you're going for a Michael Irvin reference...
ReplyDeleteThe protagonist in my newest novel is named Micah, but he's a guy.
ReplyDeleteAnd, yes, I failed twice for NFL mode! Even with training camp almost here--I'm slipping. I think it's due to massive disappointments . . . But I do like the name Antonia--without the Y and I still recommend those novels to your wife. :)
Congrats and blessings Jason!
